JOYCE ADJEI I Lawyer
Joyce assists her clients in finding workable, practical and efficient solutions to their concerns. She aims for her client’s peace of mind and to bring the law to the doorstep of her clients by simplifying legal language and providing clear instructions on tribunal/court procedures and forms in matters relating to strata disputes, residential tenancy disputes, and property disputes.
Joyce obtained her law degree from Thompson Rivers University (TRU). She articled in a large national law firm in downtown Vancouver. Joyce also holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in nursing from TRU and York University, respectively. She practiced as a Registered Nurse in BC for over a decade, including teaching at a provincial college, before turning to law.
Active in her community, from 2020 to 2022, during the pandemic, Joyce returned to nursing practice as a frontline nurse and a nurse researcher for Interior Health to help out with the pandemic. She is also a board member of BC Community Response Network (BC CRN) — an organization that raises awareness to keep vulnerable adults safe and free from neglect and abuse.
