BENJAMIN MEADOW I Lawyer
Ben joined Refresh Law in early 2022 after practicing law at two of prominent Vancouver-based boutique litigation firms. Between being called to the British Columbia Bar in 2016 and joining Refresh Law, Ben’s practice focused on insurance defence litigation where he specialized in defending personal injury and property damage claims for an array of commercial entities in different industries.
Ben now advises and represents clients in matters relating to strata disputes, residential tenancy disputes, property disputes, and construction disputes. Having previously advised and represented top-tier institutional insurance clients and their insureds – on both the plaintiff and defendant side, and at all levels of the British Columbia Court system — Ben’s practice is to critically evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of each case, fulsomely communicate to his clients the major issues, and to identify the most cost-effective and timely approach to resolving files. Ben has years of experience in resolving disputes through the Court process as well as through alternative dispute resolution avenues, such as mediation and negotiation.
Ben completed his law degree at the University of Melbourne Law School in 2013 before receiving his Masters of Laws at the University of British Columbia in 2015. Ben enjoys golfing, travelling, soaking in the sun, and sports.
